The Throat Chakra-

THROAT, The Vishuddha chakra is the fifth chakra, located in the area of the throat. This is our source of verbal expression and the ability to speak our highest truth. The fifth chakra includes the neck, thyroid, and parathyroid glands, jaw, mouth, and tongue. Its color is blue or turquoise and it is located within the throat. It is the Chakra of communication, creativity, self-expression, and judgment. It is concerned with the senses of inner and outer hearing, the synthesizing of ideas, healing, transformation, and purification. Blockage can show up as creative blocks, dishonesty, or general problems in communicating one's needs to others.

To prepare: 

Find a quiet place to sit and relax for about 20-30 minutes so you can fully enjoy this journey into your third eye. Restrict any distractions like children or pets that may take your attention away. 

Wear comfortable clothing, and make sure you have something to drink nearby. 

Try not to perform the mediation while tired. Students have been known to fall asleep. 

Wearing headphones is not necessary, but allowed if you feel comfortable. 

Begin each mediation with a prayer to your guides, angels, and ancestors so that they may support, heal, and guide you in your mediation. Ask that all unwanted energy to be released into your portal above your head. (This will be guided in the mediation)

Pressure in throat

Yawning

Throat irritation

Ears popping/pressure

Teeth pain/jaw pressure
